Sustainable living with solar energy
The aim of our team is trying to design and build a cheap-run Stirling Solar Steam System which can make electricity, clean water and cook food. This solar system is mainly designed for people from developing countries, especially from rural areas where
Team Concept
Solar energy is seen as a beneficial alternative energy source since it benefits the environment and helps to slow down global warming because it is pollution-free and does not produce any carbon dioxide emissions. Our product is mainly designed for developing countries, such as countries in Africa, India and China, but we also hope people from developed countries can use our system too. In most developing countries, there are some common difficult problems, very poor, no electricity, no clean water supply and no gas for cooking. However, in order to try to solve these existing problems, we design a new system. Our product enables us to efficiently generate mass amounts of electricity, even to use solar power even when the sun isn’t out as well as clean water and cooking food.
Team Description
Hi my name is Shuai Li. You can call me Jack.I have been very interested in renewable energy since I was 12. I have done some research about solar system and passive design houses. GlobalChallenge tries to use our efforts to help the world to solve the global problems. We started our project since 2007. Our idea is innovative because we use simple methods to design a new product to solve a few problems. It’s significantly different from other designs. Stirling Solar Steam System not only helps to reduce carbon emission, but also help people from developing countries. At the same time, it’s very cheap and easy to make this product, because most of the materials come from old cars and other old products and most of the parts are made by local factories. It can save the resources and help their economical growth.

WOW Jack this seems like such a wonderful idea, especially coming from a country which consists of so much sunlight. This is waisted energy which is often overlooked, I love your idea and I hope someday people realise your potential with this.
Thank you :)
Hi B. Turgundy. It's very nice to meet you at here. We received your feedback today. Thanks for your comments.Mike Wood is my friend. He knew our project before we attended this competition, so that's why he knew our ideas. Our project doesn't copy from anyone. We did it by ourselves and lots of people gave us some useful advice about this project. I think the achievements belong to the people who contribute to this project.Maybe you think our project is very bad. That's all right. We respect your thoughts, but also please respect our efforts on this project. We know we're the only international team for this year competition and we will try our best to improve our project. If you'd like to, please give us some useful suggestions. Thanks.

Greetings Folks! B. Turgundy here! I noticed that someone below me (T. Burgundy...nice name guy) stated that all you have is a "unique twist on a classic English word." Well, Mr. Burgundy, I think its clear they have a concept up! And they have more than JUST a twist on a classic English word! They have a twist on the classic English letter G as their logo! But come on Global Challenge...Mike Wood and Mr. Minty? Shameless advertising for Viagra and Listerine! How much are they paying you? Anyway, I've gotta go criticize every child in the local elementary school science fair. I'm not even a judge I just take pleasure in ridiculing the work of others while contributing nothing to society. See ya on the flip side! (Now THERES a classic English phrase Mr. Burgundy!)

Hi, it's very nice to see your updates. At the beginning, I don't know what kind of project you guys design. After reading your updates, I think it's very good design to reduce greenhouse gases. I'd like to see more your updates.I hope you guys can win!
Hello guys. Thanks for your cares on our team's project. I am sorry for updating late.I will update more as soon as possible.
T. Burgundy
I noticed someone below me was impressed with your idea, but I see absolutely nothing except for a unique twist on a classic English word.
I can't wait to see some updates!
Mike Wood
