Team Concept
View our full technical report here.
View our full business proposal here.
Our concept was to provide the astronaut with a state-of-the-art mechanical-counter pressure suit fitted with cutting edge technologies such as microcomputers and fast microprocessors to monitor numerous aspects of the astronaut's health. The design of the suit will allow the astronaut to experience a greater degree of mobility and comfort, while being able to enjoy the numerous health benefits of electro-muscle stimulation in order to keep the astronaut in shape throughout his space voyages.

Great work! I'm trying to download a picture of the suit as my daughter would like to use it in her 7th grade science project on apparel for space travel. How can I do this?
Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for the positive feedback, it really means a lot to us as we work towards the Innovation Summit. See you guys there!

Its great to see that your team is moving forward to create a prototype suit. Does this mean that one of you will be sporting it for the Innovation Summit?
It's really great to hear from you guys, we can't wait to meet each and everyone of you in person at Ames Reserach Laboratory in April. Until then, we will be hard at work preparing our presentations and our prototype, which we will unveil at the Innovation Summit. See you then! Final Frontier Apparel

Your video totally rocked. I'm sure Dave Walker will be thrilled to be mistaken for Pete Conrad.
See you soon.

Fantastic video! Way to remember that there is a lot of fun to be had in the midst of all this rocket science!
Mrs. Nancy Conrad, as for the wrong picture, we were working late into the night and mistake slipped right by us. Thank you so much for alerting us to our mistake so that we can fix it as soon as possible. In case you were wondering, the astronaut pictured at the end is David M. Walker. If you want to learn more about David M. Walker, click here. We are so sorry for the mix up. Once again, thank you so much for your support and we'll keep in touch, Final Frontier Apparel.
To everyone, thank you so much for your support, and we are so happy to see that you guys are having as much fun seeing the video as we had making it. The astronaut in the video during the credits Pete Conrad, getting out of Apollo 12 during one of his lunar missions.
Thanks again for your support and we hope you enjoy the video!

I was listening to one of the live casts awhile back and I remembered one person had asked the questions about the spacesuits. After listening to the speakers response I definitly accepted and agreed that the personal safety and comfort of the astronauts needs to be exceptional. Your idea really gives them much extra comfort on their difficult tasks. I tip my hat to you guys for a great idea!
Richard Palmer

Congratulations on all your hard work and intense organizing to assemble this project! It is so exciting to see your efforts and know the kind of amazing work it took to get to this point. Good luck to each of you in all your endeavors- this is a fantastic competition and only a very few students are lucky enough to have such a wonderfully motivating teacher as Mr. Kassebaum, to lead you through this process.
I am in awe of your efforts,
